Card Making and Papercraft |

Learn many techniques and skills to make a large number of cards and other paper crafts. Some of the techniques covered will be die cutting, embossing, stamping, paper
punching, water colour crayons, envelope making and layering techniques. A wide variety of equipment will be available for use at the classes. You will not need to bring
any equipment with you. Come along and have a fun,relaxing and creative time. Bring $30 to the first lesson to cover all materials for the course. Each week you will take home a huge kit containing supplies to make plenty of gift tags, gift cards, cards and other items. |

Ceramic Art |
|
Create your own colourful plates and bowls, designer lamp bases, feature tiles or tabletops. In this course you will create your
own individual pieces working at your pace with the assistance of our friendly teachers. Have a go at sgraffito, painting, crystal
glazing, wash away, erosion technique, stained glass style of glazing, the puffy paint of the ceramic world, air brushing, wet carving, overglazes, fabric draping and much more. Regularly there is a lesson where we teach you about a product or technique in ceramics.
No artistic talent or drawing skills are needed (ask us about crystal glazes) as the teachers will help you step by step to
create beautiful pieces. We also have many examples to inspire you and lots of patterns to trace or draw from. Materials are extra. You just need a sense of adventure and to have a go.

Mosaics |
|
Immerse yourself in the richness of colours and tradition of this ancient art form while creating your own designer mosaic wall
plaques, tables, mirrors and bird baths.
In this nine week course you will create two small projects using the indirect and direct methods of construction. After mastering
these two projects you will create your own designer mosaic. Materials are extra.
Within the course you will learn how to prepare your base, cut tiles, methods of laying the tiles, colour selection and the use
of colour to create tone, different adhesives, use of coloured grout and grout application and the final touches to complete the mosaic. Book early because this course is popular and fills up quickly.

Papertole |
|
| Learn the art of Papertole(three dimensional decoupage) and create your own 3D pictures using a number of prints of the same image. Craft includes cutting, edging, shaping and then gluing various pieces to give a realistic 3D picture. This course is for beginners and advanced students looking to improve or learn new techniques. Basic starter kit approx. $40 but materials for first lesson will be supplied. |

Pottery |

| Includes hand building, slab, pinch, coil construction and wheel work in earthenware clay and glaze. Create bowls, mugs, jugs, vases and gardenware in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. No experience necessary. Work at your own pace. Experienced students may specialise in particular interest areas and complete individual projects. A $30 fee is collected by the tutor on the first night to cover clay, glazes and firing. |
