Seniors Program as part of the
NSW Ageing Strategy. Classes will

Our patient, caring Computer Essentials teachers are very experienced
at making computer phobic people comfortable with using a computer.
We use Microsoft Office 2010
Learn how to use the features of your iPhone and iPad. Learn how
to e-mail, surf the web, manage and use Contacts and Calendars,
Photos, iTunes and iCloud. In this course we will take you through
the operation of these features step by step. It is preferable for
students to being their own iPhone and iPad however, iPads will
be available for use during the class. |

Computer Essentials Part 1 - Windows 7 |

No previous computer skills required for this computers for beginners introductory course for absolute computer beginners offered in a completely relaxed and supportive environment. Preferable to have own PC at home for practice between sessions. All the computer basics will be covered in this introduction to computers style course. Enhance the skills learnt in Computer Essentials Part 1 (computer basics) by learning how to use your computer confidently. * Organise your documents by using folders, move, copy, rename and delete files Use the recycle bin Learn about Windows updates Use Search function to find files *Use thumbnails view to pictures Use Windows Explorer *Install and uninstall programs Extend your knowledge of Word 2010 by inserting pictures and using tables Add to your email knowledge by sending and
receiving attached files such as photos.

| Email attachments - Come and join our most popular course for keeping in contact with family and friends. We will cover sending and receiving attached documents, sending and receiving emails with photos, sending an email to more than one person, and creating a contact group. Each student has their own computer to practice on and our friendly tutor will ensure that you have understood each step before progressing on to the next one. |

| Are your files out of control? Come to this course to tame those files into submission! Learn how to create folders, save, move, copy, select, rename and delete files. Also learn about the Recycle Bin, and how to copy files to a USB and CD. Please take note of which operating system you would like to learn we use Windows 7 operating system. |

stay safe on-line. Minimise on-line risk, identify and remove viruses,
learn how to manage spam and identify on-line rip-offs. Learn how
to setup appropriate back-up systems. Learn how to set up printers
and other accessories efficiently. Cleaning out the clutter; start-up,
unnecessary files etc. Look at current remote access solutions.
