Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) TAE40110 - Cluster 1 Design and assess Training |

The new TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and
Assessment consists of 10 units, 7 core and 3 electives. It will provide you with the skills and knowledge you will need to become a high quality trainer/assessor and it is an essential qualification if you wish to train or assess in VET (vocational education and training). You will be provided with
quality resources, opportunities to put theory into practise and individual support in your study. The course is particularly suitable for people who do not yet have a job with a
Registered Training Organisation. Through more face to face hours in the classroom participants will receive support and guidance from the trainer and more practice opportunities in a simulated training and assessment environment.
Field 1 - Learning Design $400

Field 2 - Assessment $600
TAEASS401A Plan assessment activities and
processes
TAEASS402A Assess competence
TAEASS403A Participate in assessment validation

The new TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and
Assessment consists of 10 units, 7 core and 3 electives. issues within learning and assessment practice
TAEDEL403A Coordinate and facilitate distance-based learning

Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) TAE40110 - Upgrade |
|
1) TAA: Upgrade TAA40104 Certificate IV in Training and
Assessment (TAA) to TAE40110 Certificate IV in Training and
Assessment (TAE).
Provided you can demonstrate currency as a trainer or assessor
and or continued participation in Professional Development HKCC
will update your TAA40104 to TAE40110 by RPL for $150 (provided
no further training is required). You can enrol at any time. Please
contact HKCC for further information or to make an appointment.
2) BSZ40198 Certificate IV in Workplace Training:
This qualification will no longer be recognised after June 2013 so
this is your last chance to upgrade to TAE40110 and get credit for
your BSZ40198. Bring your original qualification and evidence of
current competence and we will negotiate a pathway through RPL,
assessment and further training. The fee (can be paid as you go)
will vary depending on the amount of training you require so please
contact HKCC for further information and an initial interview.

Professioal Developement for Trainers |

TAELLN401A Address adult language, literacy and numeracy skills
Three nights from Wednesday 12 June 6.15 – 9.15
There is a proposal to make this unit a core unit in TAE Certificate IV
in Training and Assessment from 2014. There is also more emphasis
on LLN skills through the Foundation Skills Training Package and the
inclusion of ACSF (Australian Core Skills Framework) core skill levels
in future Units of Competence.
This is an excellent opportunity for existing trainers and assessors to
upgrade their skills and meet the requirement for ongoing professional
development.
