| Re-decorate your home with curtains, cushions, bedspreads and lampshades with fabric of your choice and designed by you, or create a new and exciting wardrobe from your commercial patterns using fabric of your choice. Learn all the skills and techniques of dressmaking. Suitable for beginners to advanced students. |

| Learn how the professionals approach a new design project and the steps taken to ensure you achieve the look you want on time and on budget. Topics include understanding your needs, planning, finding your style, colour, finishes, lighting and the importance of furniture choice. Lots of hands on involvement and insider tips. |

Upholstery |
|
Students bring their own chair or stool to re-cover. Our tutor will demonstrate and supervise stripping, webbing, springing and padding, covering in calico and setting fabric. Learn to cover all types of furniture and carry out repairs. Some basic tools required and there will be an extra cost for any materials you require. The course is ONLY for small jobs.Please note change of dates for this class Term 2 2009 only.
