Air dry clay is a great clay for you to create your own decorative pieces without the use of a kiln. Sayo will teach you easy clay forming techniques such as slab, pinch pot and coil. All important hand building techniques that you will use to create your own unique pieces in the class.

Week 1 - Hand build a shape - learn pottery techniques to create your desirable shape (your pieces will need several days to dry and be ready to paint in week 2).

Week 2 - Adding colour to your pieces - paint and varnish your pieces to take home with you. 

All materials supplied:

Clay tools, paints, finishing varnish

Please bring:

1. Apron

2. Small Towel

3. Medium size container

4. Baking paper

5. Pottery tools (If you have them)

6. Rolling pin
