Printmaking - Monoprinting without a press

Monoprinting without a press – Using a Gelatine Plate
With artist and printmaker Michelle Mabbott

A very colourful, productive, and simple printmaking process, for all abilities. Using an array of easily obtainable tools, to print with paint, and create exciting images, designs, and textures.
As well as rollers and combs, natural and botanical specimens, found objects, recyclables and packaging can give surprising results.
Progressing with confidence, to the addition of stencils, overdrawing, mixed media art, and a practical use for your prints.
Gelli plates, tools, and an additional personal kit of printmaking accessories, will be provided by the tutor. (BYO commercial Gelli plate if you have one).
