Drumming - Women's Circle

Secret women’s business. A Women’s only safe space to retreat from the outer world and connect with your inner knowledge.

We will drum, meditate and craft together. An introduction to the medicine wheel and the associated directions will be shared. We will explore different drums as a tool to enter the gateway of our inner stillness. Learn to play basic rhythms on African drums (djembes) and experience shamanic drum journeys with shamanic (frame) drums. Take a small break from the business of the world and our own minds to be held, nurtured, and supported. Practice mindfulness, or rather mind-emptiness as you learn simple rhythms on a drum and enter the gateway into the timeless, flow space. Learn how to use the drum as a bridge from your monkey mind to the spaciousness within. Go deep with guided meditations and shamanic drum journeys. Learn how to connect to this stillness, embody it and bring into your own life.

Please also bring a yoga mat, small pillow, eye mask, journal & pen. If it’s cold a blanket & warm stuff (i.e. socks & beanie/hoody layers to keep warm whilst experiencing lying down meditation).
