Yin and Pins

New to HKCC!

A truly exciting collaboration merging the two ancient modalities of yoga and acupuncture to bring you deep rest and nourishment.

This workshop based on Traditional Chinese Medicine will focus on the metal element of Autumn. Just as the leaves fall from the trees in the autumn months, so do we prepare to wind down and let go of all the physical or mental things that weigh us down.

During the session, Rosie Hooker will take you through 1.5 hours of calm and relaxing Yin Yoga, followed by a 30 minute svasana nourished with Acupuncture by Brandon Neander and Amy Sudtacha from HealthSpace Clinic in Hornsby.

About your teachers:

Rosie Hooker started her Yoga studies back in 2015 at Power Living Australia Yoga and has continued her studies since then. She also has Dip.Nut Adv.Dip NutMed as a Natural Health Practitioner. Nothing makes her happier than sharing her passion and knowledge of these beautiful practices with her students and empowering them to find their best self.

Brandon is an Acupuncturist and Chinese Herbalist, he graduated from the College of Complementary Medicine in Kinesiology and Mind-Body Medicine, followed by Chinese Medicine at the University of Technology.

What to bring:

A water bottle, mat, yoga block if you have one, blanket and a pillow for your comfort. No previous experience of yoga or acupuncture is required.
