FSK10219 Certificate I in Skills for Vocational Pathways

Course Information

The primary purpose of this qualification is to provide skills and knowledge for individuals who require the following • A pathway to employment and further vocational training • Reading, writing, oral communication, learning and numeracy skills primarily aligned to Australian Core Skills Framework (ACSF) Level 2 • Entry level digital technology and employability skills • Education, training and employment goals. Further, it will give students a pathway into completing further study, such as FSK20119 Certificate II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways.

Students that don't meet the Smart and Skilled eligibility are required a Fee-for-Service cost of $2,175 (paid in instalment of less than $1,500 throughout the course.)

  • Use familiar and simple metric measurements for work (FSKNUM009)
  • Read and respond to routine workplace information (FSKRDG010)
  • Use oral communication skills for effective workplace presentations (FSKOCM005)
  • Use short and simple strategies for career planning (FSKLRG003)
  • Read and respond to simple workplace information (FSKRDG007)
  • Write simple workplace information (FSKWTG006)
  • Use business resources (BSBOPS101)
  • Use whole numbers and simple fractions, decimals and percentages for work (FSKNUM008)
  • Participate in work placement (FSKLRG006)
