Announcement: Exciting News for HKCC!

We are thrilled to announce that Hornsby Ku-Ring-Gai Community College (HKCC) has been awarded the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) Peer Support and Capacity Building Grant for the next two years!

This grant will enable us to deliver our project, Empowerment Through Leisure, aimed at increasing the skills, knowledge, and confidence of individuals with disability, their families, and carers. Our program will focus on fostering self-advocacy, peer support, and community participation through inclusive leisure activities such as art sessions, cooking workshops, and physical activities.

While we are still finalising details and recruiting a project coordinator, this marks a significant step towards empowering people with disability to connect, thrive, and lead within their communities.
