Tarot for Intermediate - Level 1

Tarot for Intermediate Level 1 is an engaging and skill-building eight-week course designed for students eager to deepen their understanding beyond the basics of Tarot reading. Building on the foundations students already have from previous classes or personal experience, this intermediate course invites students to explore card combinations, develop narrative techniques, and master more complex spreads.

Key lessons focus on interpreting patterns and connections within readings, major and minor arcana relationships, elemental dignities, numerical symbolism, and the deeper meaning of court cards.

Students will learn to read card interactions as stories, identifying how cards influence each other synergistically in a spread. The curriculum further emphasises intuitive development and symbolic analysis, encouraging students to trust their instincts and intuition.

By the end of the course, students will be adept at constructing insightful narratives, managing more complex spreads, and interpreting nuanced interactions, equipping them to progress to expert or professional Tarot practice. The atmosphere blends inspiration, creativity, and thoughtful exploration for ongoing growth.

What you will need:
•Notepad and pen.
•The Rider Waite Tarot Deck OR The Radiant Rider-Waite Tarot Deck. Note you don’t need both Tarot Decks, only one. The choice is yours depending on which Tarot Deck you are drawn to.

COURSE OUTLINE:
•Review of foundation knowledge.
•Deepening card interpretation.
•Exploring symbolism, mythological and psychological connections.
•Introduction to the Celtic Cross spread and interpreting reversed cards and contextual meanings.
•Reading for different topics (love, career, health), ethical considerations.
