Sketch Your Story!

This is a fun and creative online class where you will improve your drawing and sketching skills and learn new ones!

This class is perfect for both beginners and those with some drawing experience. Jenny will guide you through a variety of techniques and skills to help you improve your drawing abilities. You'll learn everything from sketching and shading to perspective and composition. In addition, you'll learn how to add Ink Pen techniques to your drawings.

Students with prior knowledge of their chosen colour medium are welcome to add colour to their Drawing Compositions using watercolour, felt markers or coloured pencils. Jenny will guide you through the process.

Our online platform provides you with flexibility and convenience, allowing you to learn at your own pace and from the comfort of your own home. Plus, with our interactive format, you'll have the opportunity to interact with other students and receive personalized feedback from our instructor.

Not only will our class help you improve your drawing skills, but it's also a fun and engaging way to explore your creativity and express yourself through art.

What to bring:

• A3 Sketchpad
• HB pencil or a tin of Creative B pencils
• Sharpener
• Rubber

You will need an internet connection and a device e.g. phone, laptop, computer, iPad etc.

About your tutor With over 20 years of teaching Visual Arts at HKCC, Jenny supports her students in developing their own creative style in a welcoming, encouraging environment. Her online classes are fun, engaging and informative, with personalised guidance to help each student achieve their artistic goals. Beginners are always welcome, and Jenny enjoys connecting with students both online and at our once-a-term social lunch.
