Art of Watercolour

This class is for painters who have previous experience with Watercolour. We have an Art of Watercolour for beginners on Wednesdays.

Together we will go on a journey to learn the Art of Watercolour; the different ways in can be painted; learn about equipment used, understanding colour, brushstroke techniques and different mixed media.

We will have fun, learn and play with Watercolour in a friendly atmosphere.

What to bring

If you have painted before please bring all of your equipment you need to paint.

For beginners you will need the following items:

*Set of watercolour paints (this can be compressed blocks or tube paint)

*Palette for mixing (segmented round palette is recommended)

*Brushes- Round sizes 4, 6 and 10. Flat size 16.

*A4 Pad of watercolour paper and 1 HB Pencil

About your tutor
Cheree Connolly is an artist living and working in Sydney. After attending the Hornsby Ku-ring Gai Community College
herself she has completed a Diploma of Fine Art, studied in Italy, Florence and graduated from the National Art school in
Sydney with a Bachelor of Fine Art in 2017. She has a broad knowledge of art history including painting, drawing and
print making. Giving her the ability to enable students to paint in many different styles and develop in their art practice.
