Papertole
Papertole, also known as 3D decoupage, is a papercraft where identical images are cut and layered to create a three-dimensional effect. The technique involves cutting out elements from multiple copies of the same image and layering them, using techniques like shaping, embellishing, and gluing, to build up a three-dimensional picture.
Create your own Papertole artworks with the assistance of our excellent tutor, Marlies Davey (Linssen), who has been teaching the art of Papertole at HKCC since 1993. Her students have won numerous prizes at Royal Easter shows as well as other exhibitions in and around Sydney. Their work is always the highlight of the night at our Annual HKCC Art Exhibition!
This course is for beginners and advanced students looking to improve or learn new techniques.
Please note: Basic starter kit is approximately $60 and can be purchased from Marlies, but materials for first lesson will be supplied.
