Korean for Beginners (K-Pop Cultural Journey)

This is a practical, introductory course for people who are brand new to Korean. No knowledge of the language is assumed.  This course is to provide a friendly space to learn about the Korean language and culture in a fun, open atmosphere.  Learn about Korean Hangul scripts, clear pronunciations and how to build confidence practicing the Korean language using music as a tool.  Highlights of course include learning verses of popular Korean K-Pop songs, discussing positive K-cultural themes in famous Korean TV series and learning to order at Korean restaurants.  The course tutor is a native Korean speaker and a well-being practitioner to support your first steps into fully experiencing Korean culture and language in a relaxed environment.

About your tutor:

Heejung (Cecilia) was born and formally educated in Korea and has worked in Seoul as a bilingual Australian-Korean cultural business consultant.  Heejung has a length of group teaching experience, particularly in the use of music and social connectivity to reach the desired outcome of learnings.
