Bio
Amy Harrison has had over twelve years' experience in the floral industry. Has worked in various florists around Sydney and started her own business, Art of the Flower in 2011.
Teaching has been a huge part of her floristry career, beginning several years ago with the creation of her flower crown workshops for hens parties. The popularity of these led her to becoming a part time floristry teacher at Hornsby Tafe. More recently, she developed flower and plant arranging classes to teach beginners, at Hornsby Kur-ring-gai Community College.
Now wanting to explore a deeper sense of sustainability in floral design, she is merging her love of flowers with her love of nature and with the love of her life! Currently, collaborating with her Husband on a new business, Floraculture brings together the couple’s shared love of nature, with their respective qualifications and experience in horticulture, arboriculture and floral design.
